The Story

Most recently, Up And Social did a website revamp for Local Motion of Boston, www.localmotionofboston.com. The goal for this website was to provide a contemporary look and feel while also displaying a lot of information that is easy to sort through.  To address the needs of potential customers looking for different types of transportation, Local Motion of Boston, placed high importance on providing specific information for different kinds of needs while also providing a fun and interactive experience for website visitors.

The new website presents a vibrant theme that not only communicates the company’s commitment to excellence but provides answers and solutions to ongoing problems prospects seek to resolve.

The Challenge

Local Motion of Boston faced the challenge of providing a modern and simplistic feel, yet still having to disseminate significant information for multiple audiences. Trying to find a happy medium between competing with today’s top designs while still providing a lot of information is no easy task. In addition, we wanted to find better ways to convert website visitors into paying customers. It’s not enough to simply disseminate information. A good website will generate leads and close deals. We also must figure out a way to communicate the overall message of the brand in a simplistic package. This was our challenge with Local Motion of Boston.

We chose a modern design with a slider for the home page and a navigation bar with the proper categories front and center. This was done to eliminate any confusion and to provide an easy navigation experience for the end-user. We chose bold imagery and colors to convey the depth of knowledge in transportation in and around Boston and the excellence behind the brand.

The new site features a request-a-quote button so visitors can get a direct quote for their event. It also features interactive pull-down menus as well as testimonials, career opportunities, a contact form, as well as an information bar at the top and bottom of the website. And finally, the entire site is mobile responsive.
